Happy Days Ice Cream, tucked away at 247 Hillcrest Dr in Laurens, SC, is a delightful homage to classic 1950s charm and an absolute haven for ice cream lovers seeking both nostalgia and quality. This charming ice cream shop stands out not only for its vibrant retro atmosphere but also for its thoughtfully curated menu that goes beyond just sweet treats.
Step inside and you’ll be greeted by the warmth of friendly staff who make every visit feel like catching up with old friends. Their genuine hospitality adds a comforting layer to the experience, inviting families, friends, and even social groups to unwind and indulge. As customer Sheila Calvert noted, it’s a great place to socialize and relax, making it perfect for gatherings of all kinds.
The menu offers a treasure trove of treats—from classic floats and sundaes to some truly unique ice cream flavors. You can find the familiar favorites alongside more adventurous picks like the carrot cake ice cream praised by Tonja Suttles for its fantastic flavor or the sugary sweet yet guilt-conscious sugar free chocolate, which Sharon Brown described as “delicious.”
For those seeking a traditional indulgence, the hot fudge brownie sundae is a must-try, delivering a rich, velvety experience that’s as satisfying as it is timeless. Toddler-approved concoctions like the stellar banana split ensure that visitors of all ages leave with a smile. What’s more, Happy Days Ice Cream also offers savories such as Nathan’s hot dogs, which impressed a customer who compared them favorably to anywhere else.
Beyond ice cream, this shop uniquely features premade take-home foods and hearty soups stored in the freezer, offering added convenience and a delightful surprise for those looking to bring a bit of that Happy Days magic home. As Leigh Anne Etters encourages, don’t miss exploring these other goodies to experience the full breadth of what they have to offer.

Cute 50s themed ice cream shop. Great selection of flavors. I tried a bite of the carrot cake ice cream and it was fantastic but settled on a hot fudge brownie sundae and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and we had a great experience. We will be back again.

I saw this place while driving by and didn't think much of it. I decided to take my 10 year old inside to get him some ice cream. I was pleasantly surprised. Its so cute inside. It has a 1950's theme and my son said the brownie batter ice cream was delicious. I had a Nathan's hotdog that was also as good as any I'd ever had. I recommend checking this place out.
